From the beginning of this pandemic, hospitals and clinics around the world have had to deal with a shortage of personal protective equipment, or PPE. This equipment, such as N-95 masks and hand sanitizer, is vital to slowing the spread of the virus. Last week, Amazon announced that they had donated over ten million dollars worth of PPE to Direct Relief, which has distributed much needed supplies to hospitals and clinics across the United States.
