Craighead County Library add educational resources to our website

JONESBORO, Ark- Schools across the state might have transitioned online back in March, but the Craighead County Library is stepping up to make sure students don’t miss a beat when it comes to test prep and continuing learning.

“A lot of parents are searching for things to do with their kids and help their kids learn,” says Brandi Hodges, Public Relations Manager for Craighead County Library. “We have e-book downloads through Libby and Axis 360. Axis 360 is for kids up to twelve years old and is juvenile fiction and nonfiction, and Libby is all other age groups.”

To access them all you need is your library card.

If you do not have one you can get a temporary digital library card from their website to access all their free e-books and education offerings.

Hodges says they want to help parents in any way possible with their educational resources.

The library also has online material for high school and college aged students, from academic articles to ACT, SAT, and GRE prep, including test questions to help students’ study while at home.

“Students who are graduating from college who are thinking about going to grad school, we have some of those tests available,” says Hodges’. “We also have the ACT, SAT practice test available. There are different videos about how to do different math problems. So, there is lots of availability on our website.”

Hodges is encouraging students and parents to take advantage of these programs. She also says if you have any questions regarding these educational programs, please call the library.
