Hytrol conveyor company incorporated is adding 35 new jobs and creating a new schedule for the new look. The idea was to allow employees more time with their families.
“I think it’s a good thing, Hytrol’s growing and so it takes to change to grow, so I think it’s a good thing,” Kim Light said.
They are cutting down the regular five days a week shifts to shorter four days a week shift. Then allowing the shifts from Friday through Sunday to be chosen on a volunteer basis.
“We’re making sure that we keep our commitment to our values. And two of those values being 1- commitment and 2- family. This change in work schedule most certainly does that,” Jack Roberts said.
For one person, as an intern, Hytrol has been a good company for him and knows anyone working here in any role, would value the opportunity.
“Every day that I was here, I learned something new and it was never a dull moment. I just felt like I could go do whatever job I wanted to do after my internship,” Joseph Branch said.
In the end, for the northeast Arkansas community job opportunities are becoming available and they want to make sure people in the area know they are welcomed.
“Even if it’s not in your comfort zone just go for it and then after that, you make the most of it once you get it,” Branch said.
The new schedules will start February 3rd with it fully be put together by March 1st and jobs available in April.
