Human Remains Located in November Identified

Murray was first reported missing by his mother Lucile Murray in July of 2013.

The mother became suspicious when Murray received a new social security card by mail but never came by to pick it up. The police report says that Murray was released in from Craighead County Detention Center in December of 2013 and charged again on a mental health issue.

Since that arrest Murray has not been heard from.

Today police received notice from the Arkansas State Crime lab that the body of James Murray was confirmed via DNA from the skeletal remains.

Jonesboro police did not know the cause of death but told Northeast Arkansas News foul play is not suspect and the case is now closed.
