Officers Respond to Two Robberies

On 20 December at approximately 8:30 am officers of the Jonesboro Police Department were called to the Exxon Station at the corner of Redwolf and Highland due to a subject presenting a firearm and demanding money. The suspect was described as a black male with a face covering. After demanding money the suspect left the store and got into a white Nissan SUV. Approximately two hours later another suspect described as a black male with a face covering entered Game Exchange with a gun and demanded money, then fled the scene in a vehicle described as a white SUV.

Detectives believe the cases to be connected and are following up on leads. This is all the information we are able to release at this time.

Detectives also encourage citizens and store personnel to stay aware of their surroundings and if they see something suspicious call 870-935-5551 and report it. Anyone with information in regard to these robberies are encouraged to call 870-935-7867 Crime Stoppers to give an anonymous tip.
