Jonesboro, Ark., September 14, 2018 – NEA Baptist Hilltop welcomes the addition of Dr. Ali Haydar and Dr. Trent Lamb to their location at 4901 E. Johnson Ave., in Jonesboro. The Hilltop Clinic offers primary care and urgent care services. Both new physicians are accepting new patients; appointments can be made by calling (870) 936-7694.
Primary care providers at NEA Baptist treat patients of all ages. In addition to day-to-day needs such as cold, aches, and pains; they also provide ongoing treatment and maintenance of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and more.
Dr. Ali Haydar attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Haydar completed his residency at the UAMS Northeast Family Medicine Residency in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Dr. Haydar is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol. He holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and the Arkansas Medical Society.
Dr. Haydar and his wife, Katie, were both born and raised in Jonesboro and glad to be back.
“My wife and I love travelling, cooking, and watching Netflix. I wanted to go into family medicine because of the interactions I saw between my family members and their physicians. I enjoyed seeing that relationship and how the physician helped them get to a better state of health than they would have been otherwise,” said Dr. Haydar.
Dr. Trent Lamb has been in practice since 1995. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas college of Medicine and completed his residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences AHEC Northeast. He is board certified in family medicine and is member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Lamb graduated from Arkansas State University in 1991.In the course of his career, he worked for the army for ten years, completed a trauma certification during his residency and has recently worked in private practice and in the emergency department setting. He has been married to his wife for 26 years they have two sons. Dr. Lamb is very active in church, is an avid hunter and fisher, and enjoys American archeology. “I learned how to work hard at a very young age. My philosophy in medicine actually came right out of the Bible, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’. It’s important to listen to people and to treat them the way you would want to be treated at the doctor.”
NEA Baptist Clinic Hilltop location recently expanded urgent care services to meet the needs in the community. The Urgent Care clinic is now open from 9 am – 9 pm Monday – Friday and 8 am – 8 am on Saturday and Sunday. Check-in 30 minutes prior to close.
