Sunday Morning Carjacking Leaves Victim Without Car, Police Seek Help

The Jonesboro Police Department received a call on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at approximately 5:20 am that a subject had been held at gun point while his vehicle was stolen. The victim told responding officers that he was at 207 N. Main ST. and was delivering newspapers to the Exxon Gas Station. The victim stated that while he was parked at the gas station another vehicle pulled up near him and two unknown subjects got out. The two subjects approached the victim and one pointed a hand gun at him and they got in his vehicle and then both vehicles drove away. The victim was not injured during the robbery and no arrest has been made. This is an active investigation and Detectives with The Criminal Investigation Division of The Jonesboro Police Department are working to develop investigative leads and process evidence.
