NEA HUMANE SOCIETY ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR AND UPCOMING GRAND RE-OPENING OF SHELTER
The Northeast Arkansas Humane Society is proud to announce the addition of Jill Cravens as its new Executive Director. Cravens is a long-time resident of Jonesboro. She has spent the last 12 years as a licensed Realtor and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. She is a member, past director and treasurer of the NEA Board of Realtors and was selected as Realtor of the Year in 2012. Mrs. Cravens recently served as Program Director for ShareHope Pregnancy and Infant Loss for NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation from 2009 to 2017. After a long search, Cravens was chosen from dozens of applicants from around northeast Arkansas. She says, “I am thrilled and honored to join this organization. I feel like I have truly found my calling. It is my goal to carry on the mission of the shelter which is to be an advocate for animals who are sick, injured or neglected.” Cravens recently married Brooks Cravens of Jonesboro and she has one son, Landon Crews.
NEAHS would like to invite the public to a grand “re-opening” of the Shelter on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The Chamber of Commerce will do an official ribbon cutting ceremony and refreshments served. Board members, staff and volunteers will be around to meet and greet guests. The NEA Humane Society operates entirely through donations and support of the community.
