Girls In STEM Program Visited By Hytrol

A group of girls are getting an inside look at what a career in engineering could be like. This is thanks to the Museum of Discovery's Girls in STEM program.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math.

The program is for girls 12 to 15.

Today, Hytrol visited the group teaching them what their engineers do daily when designing and making parts.

According to the US Department of Commerce, females make up only 24 percent of STEM jobs. The Museum of Discovery is hoping to inspire girls to change that.

The Girls in STEM program will also have visitors from Nestle, Ritter, and more this week.
