Craighead County Library Holds Live Animal Event

What do a toad, a fox and a boa constrictor have in common? Well, all were part of the Craighead County Library’s live animal event today.

Dozens of parents, students and teachers gathered at Parker Park Community Center to learn and interact with some of Arkansas’ rare and endangered wildlife.

The red fox, and red tail boa constrictor were among the featured animals.

Instructors from the Natural History Educational Company toured with the animals, to teach kids something about the animals they didn’t know before.

The event itself, is a part of the library’s off-site summer event series.
