One story I haven't been able to do is a story on: Take Your Pet to Work Day. I'm told it's this Friday. Is any business or office in the Jonesboro area recognizing this day with an event for pets at the office. We'd like to know. Please send us an email about your pet or office to: firstname.lastname@example.org. If we get some interesting emails, we might turn them into a story.
This Friday, June 22, marks the 20th annual Take Your Dog To Work Day®.
Businesses around the globe will be participating—and with the majority of U.S. households owning pets, Take Your Dog To Work Day is a story focus sure to be appreciated by every audience.
Pet Sitters International (PSI) created Take Your Dog To Work Day® in 1999 as a unique way to give back to the pet community. The event, which is always held the Friday following Father’s Day, encourages employers to allow dogs in the workplace for a fun summer Friday to celebrate the great companions dogs make and promote their adoptions. The entire week leading up to the event is Take Your Pet To Work Week®.
