Some might consider a new home the ultimate Christmas present.
That's what happened for the Moreno family of Jonesboro.
This afternoon the habitat for humanity of greater Jonesboro presented Nayda Moreno and her daughter with the keys to their newly refurbished home.
The house was originally donated to habitat in 2016 and reconstruction began earlier this summer. The family was allowed to move in a few days before the holidays. The dedication of the new home marked the construction of their 20th habitat home in Jonesboro. Selected families are required to complete at least 250-volunteer hours by completing construction on their home and completing education courses.
