Finding Funding for Arkansas Roadways

The Arkansas Department of Transportation stopped in Jonesboro this week looking for suggestions on how to generate revenue for Arkansas roadways. For years the department has approached the legislature for funding. Each year lawmakers turn the requests down. The DOT is trying to get a feeling for what the public might be willing to pay for.
